I travelled to Brussels from Dublin with Aerlingus on Tues and was able to check in online. I'd one back to check in and was travelling with an infant. I'm returning to Dublin tomorrow with 1 bag to check in and infant again but I'm unable to check in online on my return journey. It says Error: Web check-in is not available for your booking. Please check-in at the airport.

Anyone know why I can't check in online on the return journey?

I've never been able to check in online when travelling with an infant with Aer Lingus. In fact even to reserve seats I've had to ring the reservation centre.

Surprised you were able to do it on the way out...

Spent over 15 mins on the phone to their helpdesk - on hold for almost all of that time, help desk girl hadn't a clue, put me on hold & then told me no one was able to checkin online for that flight. I told her my husband did last night and then immediately tried to check me in (we have separate bookings) but wasn't able to. She said she didn't know about that but that it was closed now for everyone. Cost me a fortune calling them from abroad.
Morons, I won't even start a rant on it but very annoyed.
