Weak, miserable, just can't stand rich people, BASTARDS.

Incapable of having a good time.

    It's a serious question.

And if Hondasam or Poor Craythur want to drag this off-topic, I challenge you both to a pillow fight.:pac:

I don't think Michael Davitt, James Connolly, Jim Larkin, Michael Collins or John Hume were weak begrudgers.

    What say you AH?

Just as miserable as their mirror image the right wing Capitalist.

Yes they are. They want the easy route in life instead of going out and making things happen. People with a couple of million or even a few thousand in the bank worked damn hard to get that money from a young age. Socialists are jealous and want their lifestyle without putting the effort in.

That's it in a nutshell. With the emphasis on 'nuts'. And 'hell'.

No the miserable ones are on the right wing. Thinking only of themselves, its the politics of greed and selfishness. And miserable as they think everyone wants to take what they believe to be rightfully theirs.

Socialists care for their fellow man and believe in a society that looks after everyone and leaves no one on the poverty line. It's the politics of caring and understanding.

The problem with capitalism is that eventually you run out of people to rip off

I'm a socialist and I'm very happy. Probably because I'm more of a Bollinger Bolshevik than a moany Marxist.

no - not at all socialists I know genuinely want to work for a caring society rather an uncaring darwinistic society

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I find Hondasam and Poor Craythur improve lacklustre threads.

Both capitalism and socialism have their strengths and flaws. Neither should be outright dismissed.

Agreed, it's somewhere in the middle we ideally want to be.
