Law Summer Courses

I'm in first year law at the moment, and we're just after finding out that the modules we need to qualify to sit the exam for King's Inns won't be running until third year, while at that stage I'll be on co-op!

I was wondering does anyone know of anywhere that runs the Law of Evidence, Admin Law and Jurisprudence during the summer? And possibly Civil Liberties too. There's a few people from my course that would be interested in doing it then.

I've looked and looked but can't find anywhere..
    Thanks for your help!

You may be misunderstanding things here. You need to check whether the Kings Inns rules say that your degree needs to have the relevant core subjects (i.e. be an "approved degree" in which you passed the core subjects). You have to check if it's the case that you can simply do, say, a degree in UCX and then sit in on modules somewhere else.

if you are talking about UL, you can take the requisite modules in fourth year- Some of my year were on co-op/erasmus when modules like jurisprudence and admin were covered but they joined the class the following year and took the exams then.

Yeah I checked, it is an approved degree but apparently the modules are only going to be available in third year, which is a bit ridiculous. I'm going to have to consider sitting them somewhere else and then taking the Kings Inns diploma exams in them maybe. Thanks for your help anyway!
