cordaline tree dying?

Hi, my green cordaline tree is about 5ft high. Appears to have survived the winter well. I also dug it up in Feb and replanted it in sames place because it was leaning too much.

I just noticed that a small bunch of that new growth type green leaf located tight in the centre has completely gone brown and is clearly dead. Other than that the plant looks really healthy.

Is the tree starting to die perhaps due to the replant or is it just a temporary reaction to the replant.

    Thanks for reading.
