I'd say 9 hours without breaks.

    Rough guess: 13.5-15 hours.

Driving to Lahinch on the old roads used to take in the region of 4.5 hours.
Rough estimate for cycling: Driving Time x 3 = 13.5-15 hours.

It's 240km so that'd take me at least 9 hours without breaks and provided I didn't have a massive head wind to contend with. As for how long it would take you, I dunno, how fast do you go on average?

Just googled a route via Cellbridge, Edenderry, Tullamore, Banaher, Loughrea, Gort into Lahinch.

Looks like reasonably good roads for cycling, a very long day in the saddle. Having said that I once sat in on a guy from Naas to Dublin one afternoon who had left Killarney that morning, but he was on a mission.

I did this over two days recently into a raging gale and with fully loaded panniers (and thankfully had no mechanicals). I was initially constraining myself because of the shortness of the day in early February, but I was damn glad to roll into Athlone at the end of day 1. So really it depends primarily on how much stuff you want to take with you, and to a lesser extent on what mood the weather's in.
