try an inflatable on if you switching between cars, you'd be surprised how good they are. I have a Handirack one for loads up to about 80kg

The bars that fit a Fiesta will be too short for a van, and will also have different feet. Thule rock, but my only experience of them is with cars. I've used heavy Cruz ones for vans, and they're nice and strong, bolting straight into the roof.
I bought one set of Thule racks from Halfords, and another from roofbox.co.uk

You can also have bars welded direct to the roof if you're not interested in selling in on afterward. I did that to a jeep I had, and they rocked balls.
