Evidence Required for grants ??

    Does anyone now how much documentary evidence is required by the County Councils as proof of Residence/proof of income/proof of living independently from parents.

    Do they need numerous documents for each year or is one example enough. I stupidly haven't kept many letters/bills from the last few years.

    Anyone gots the inside info ?

    Haven't got the application in yet, but so far after a few phonecalls they're only asking me for evidence from the last tax year(2010). The system being the way it is they could come back to me and ask me for further evidence though.

    We're in the same boat regards this residence requirement right?

    EDIT: They seemed rather hazy on the residence thing when I was talking to them too.

    Hey- yes, I think we are, I've got 2 and a half years out of the three, so I want to give them as much evidence from those years as possible. :D

    Anyone ?

    Is this the first year for the 3/5 year residency ?

    I know they are picky re proving you lived independently from October of the previous year- Ive got my lease and a letter from the tenancy board, plus documents addressed to me.

    But if I am trying to prove that Ive lived here for three out of the last 5 years would letters of attendance at UCD and bank statements work ? I was living at home then so I don't have utility bills for this period as everything was in my parents name.
