if its not an slr you should be ok, probably get stung otherwise, unless you hid in the back

"It's easier to apologise than to ask for permission" - what's the worst that could happen? Just do it and if they pull you up on it say sorry and put it away immediately

you won't enjoy the gig as much if you have to keep an eye on your camera; if you're not up the front, your shots will probably be ****; and you'll run the risk of pissing off fellow gig-goers.

You 99.9% won't get away with it in the balcony, at least in the thick of a standing crowd you have a chance to be sneaky and go unnoticed but they are unbelievable at stopping you so much as record a song with a phone let alone shoot with a DSLR. I had a P&S canon when watching interpol and was stung by security first song in.

Sorry to tell you, but if you don't have a photopass, you will be told leave it in the cloak room, or get out...

No photopasses were given to either of the sites I work for. Imagine they'd be keeping an eye out for snappers as a result!

I have the contract here, there's nothing wrong with it, a standard editorial usage contract.

I've used my 5D and 70-200L at the very front before. I was just told to change the lens to a different one.
