    Milsim - Military Simulation.

It's a game with ammo limits, multiple objectives, uniform requirements, squads and all that. Each team will have specific objectives to complete along with brapping at the enemy, securing objectives, patrolling routes, destroying things and all that jazz. It's a completely different experience.

milsim is short for military simulation

milsim can come in many different flavors, the general aim is to provide a more realistic experience within reason, the addition of medic rules, ammo limits, command structure for example can all help to add to the experience, generaly completely objectives is generally more important than body count, is a skirmish is COD then milsim would be arma 2

Essentially, it takes airsoft a little closer to the military world it emulates, attempting to give airsofters a 'taste' of 'actual' warfare, by emersing them in a command structure, and scenario lead event.

It's pretty fun, and as with most things, you get out of it what you put in. Come with the right attitude, and it can be some of the best airsoft you've ever experienced.

It's something a site says it's running to drum up interest in a big game, then at the last minute they bottle it and allow hicaps and start handing out armbands to the lads who show up in hoodies and DPM coveralls with beta spetzes held together with tape. AVOID MILSIM AT ALL COSTS.
