Foot cramps

    What's the best general advice for foot cramps? I went on a long run (for me) 18k last Sunday, feet stiff the next day but fine otherwise. Only today I feel cramp under my sole. Should I rest or would I be ok for gentle hours run tonight if it's gone by then? I've read it can be a problem with hydration to I've been drinking more water. I understand nobody can give medical advice – just looking for general experiences to gauge if this is something that can damage if run on.

    Water and hydration products are a good place to start.
    If you have been working up to that distance and it was one of your first runs like that then it could be just the strain of it. Ease down for a bit and stretch stretch and more stretching.

    If in doubt go to the people who know best, they worked wonders for me.
