I asked this already in another thread but was hoping to get a few opinions. Should I choose Int or Irish variant for the exams?

The last thread pretty much said it all.

I would do, and have done international - that's the way things are headed anyway, makes more sense as far as I'm concerned.

As I found out from the last discussion on this. The Irish version is now the IFRS plus a module comparing IFRS and the old Irish GAAP.

Plus, you now need to register for the Irish version for the purposes of gaining the audit cert if you want that.

Essentially, the advice would be to go with the Irish version. Calling it the Irish variant is a bit of a misnomer.

Ah right, I wasn't aware of that. I'm not looking to go in to audit so it was never much of a consideration.

    Hi Januss
If you are not looking for an Auditing Cert you should go for the International stream for F7, F8, P2 and P7. The International stream will be easier
Today is the last day for registration
