Is anyone doing or have done in the past a J1 in Boston area. Any advice on accommodation or jobs would be much appreciated!:D

I went last year to Boston and stayed on the Brighton area with a few guys. Was cheap enough and good few other j1ers around the area. I was told to avoid roxbury just bear in mind. Rough area seemingly. Anywhere in cambridge seemed pretty good too though, that's where a lot of MIT and harvard frat houses and such are.
Jobs were tough to come by but it's important you don't give up if ya dont find something straight away! I work one day for a street canvassing company (biggest load of ****e ever!!). I'd defo go to boston duck tours, they seem to hire during the summer months.
