    Hi all
    i have a citroen Dispatch (Jan 2007) 57 K miles with pneumatic suspension and the red warning light comes on to say thats at fault and stays on when driving, i went to the main dealer and put it on the machine and said it needs a new compressor at a very expensive cost.
    He said they have an ecu in them and this is faulty. Problem is I cannot afford this new one and am trying to locate one second hand and what if that wasn't the problem?? Could it be the switch in the back that operates it could that be faulty?? I'm lucky that it seems to be locked on the up pposition but I don't know can I trust it??
    Can I get a spurious one??
    ....ps have tried kicking it but no joy!

    they can be repaired. but i means having ur van of the road for a week... ish. if you get me the part number i can check with a friend about shipping one too you and getting a surcharge when you return old unit. that of can only be done if he has one in stock. so i need a part number..

    anyone know where this is located??
    I have found an electrical unit on the passenger side under the bonnet.
    Is this it??
    When I press the up and down button in the back a buzzing sound comes from the rear passenger side???

    not too familar with this model but sounds like your on the right track. pm your reg/vin and ill see if i can get the part number 4 ye. i case the number is not visible in place

    ok here's you part number for the compressor 5277g5 located were your hearing the buzzing noise. you cant get it spurious. ive asked a friend on msn and he ain't got one. try various breakers etc. also it may be worth getting a second opinion. common faults on these are height sensor on rear axle. low fluid levels or air entering system.

    there is also a suspension control unit under the bonnet which is the part you were checking.

    ive sent you a pm about possible repairs.

    Had it on the machine in Citreon and that was the fault that showed up but you could see the prices for them yourself...:):):):):):):)
