Feel free to use them and let everybody know how you get on…

    - Your credit card details are likely to be compromised – my browser reports that site as suspicious.
    - If you even receive a device, it will be fake.
    - If you decide to use it, you run the risk of receiving an injury.
    - If it works it may not last long and you will not receive a refund or repair.
    - Would you really plug in a fake heat generating device into your sockets at home? REALLY?

…so, by all means order away!

I also thought people were a bit harsh answering you...

A friend of mine was selling GHD's for 90 euro a while back... I ended up buying one, broke after a couple of months. I then went into peter marks and got a new one. It was only when using the new one I realised how bad the other one was... always tugged my hair.

But then again, I was stuck one day and bought a straightener in heatons for like €10 and it was great, lasted ages :)

I only have experiences with the ghd's really and couldn't live without mine, so why not save a lil longer and buy the real thing:)

It is a fake site. There was a programme on TV3 recently about fake GHD sites. As far as I know the show is still on the tv3 site. Might be worth taking a look at.:)

On the show either no item was received or the person received a fake (and sometimes dangerous items).

I would keep an eye on Peter Marks and see if they have any offers on them.

I am not really sure where you would get a real item online so can't give you the name of any sites.

they are fake, and yes the fake ones are fire hazzards and very bad connections in them where you will get a bolt of a shock... and a fire if you get a reealllllyyy bad one!

Just buy from an official retailer, not worth the hassle skimping on a fake one, seen too many people buy them only to get the hand shocked off them or the damn thing go up in flames

You weren't attacked, you were given honest answers to the question you asked.

I have to say though, in this post

In my personal opinion, the above quote was short/cutting with those who had posted in this thread.

www.asos.com and www.salonskincare.co.uk both sells GHDs. I have bought from those websites but not GHDs from them.

    Attacked? Really?
I hadn't meant my reponse to be harsh. Harsh would have been letting her buy fake GDH products online. I replied breifly because the question had already been answered and I felt that a quick statement of agreement was all that was needed.
