Form 12 - PRSA 1 Certificate

    Hi,

This year, my husband and I have been unlucky enough to be required to fill in a form 12.

We've both got pensions, which we pay into (with a small top up from employers). There is a section there asking whether we've got a PRSA 1 or a PRSA 1 (Net Pay) certificate. I don't believe we've ever been issued with one of these. Any idea how we get one?

    Thanks

Did you ever get an answer to this question. I have am filling out a Form12 as well, and I do not understand the differences between the two options.

Your Pension provider will be able to inform you which type of PRSA certificate applies to your contributions.

Also, your employer should have received a copy of the relevant PRSA certificate so check with them (if they haven't got it then they can't (or shouldn't) give you tax relief on your PRSA contributions!).
