Muhammad Ali, especially when he was Cassius Clay, used to give prediction before every fight. It used to give great excitement to the match beforehand, especially if that boxers predicted most of them right. Ali predicted 10 of his first 14 matches right!

We need another boxer like that.

    Predictions on their own fights???

Your hardly going to get a fighter predicting that they are going to loose!!!

As for predicting other fights I think a lot are afraid to say what they really think, not to ruffle any feathers.

David Haye against Audley said in his post fight interview that he told all his family and friends ko round 3 and that he made money out of it himself. He later withdrew the statement!

I think James Toney is still up to giving predictions and Freddie Roach has said when he thinks Pacman will take his opponents out

If a modern boxer did it everybody would complain it was unoriginal and a blatant rip off of Ali

when you are the greatest you can do that..plus we are way more pc now- even our boxers....and you dnt want to give any extra motivation

Manny's approach is class "i love you, its just buisness my good friend"
