Was one of my favourite films last year. Although I got that, The Fall and The Prestige on Blu-ray on Adverts for €20 a week or two back.

Agreed. Very good movie, people dont like it because they dont understand it. Have in on Blu-ray myself, quality is great but dont think its a one that has to be on Blu-ray if you get me, theres no super duper robots blowing s*** up.

There's some cracking visuals and worth it for the sound mix alone..

The blu is fantastic but for a smaller TV, DVD is certainly still decent:D

As the article mentions, it is difficult to see the poor quality on a still image (but compare the skin tones on Watanabe and Levitt.. the top looks very saturated). But it is meant to be an atrocious transfer.

My Triple Play Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy of 'Inception' has one of the "affected" DVD's.. and although I'll probably never watch the DVD when the Blu-ray is right next to it, I popped Warner Bros an e-mail for a replacement.

Looks like the R5 master of the film was put on the DVD (R5s are sold in Asia well in advance of global release, at a much lower level of quality and price, in order to combat illegal copies).
