Can anyone recommend a good one and how much do they charge typically?

We have two cars and our home insurance now, the ringing around is a pain in the neck and the price comparison sites aren't great IMO. Think a broker could be the option closest to pain-free.

This was a few years ago now and the brokers might not even be in it now, but Murray Spellman were given to me as a recommendation on a few occasions.

Find McsharryFoley in Sligo excellent for car insurance. I've never used them for home insurance tho. Power insurance in Limerick are good for car insurance too, but their prices have never beat McSharryFoley for one of our vehicles:). They do home insurance aswell. Give both of them a call and see, people ring them from all over the country and they can do everything over the phone and post you out anything that needs to be signed etc.
