tried to take a few photos on my desire yesterday and noticed that the camera wasn't working, tried the camcorder and that's not working either.
has anyone else had this problem?
a few weeks ago i was having problems with the earphones for a couple of days but it seemed to sort itself out.i couldn't listen to any music or the radio through the earphones.
i have the phone 11 months now, would it be still under guarantee if i brought it back to the shop?

    Call HTC 01 696 8474.

It's because the memory on the internal phone storage is getting too full. Delete some of your apps and if you have the latest version of app2sd go to menu->clear cache. That should get it working again. I had both the problems you had and that solved them each time.

If I do a factory data reset will I lose all my photos/videos?
Would this get the camera working again.
I'm not bothered if I lose any apps,I can get them back..

Photos and videos would be stored on your SD card.
These wouldnt be affected by a data reset

Did you check your Power save settings?
This automatically restricts power when your battery is low by turning off Camera/wifi etc.
My Desire S turned the camera off when the battery was running lower than 15%.
I then charged the phone up but the camera function would not work again until I went into "Power" - "Power saver" and then un-ticked "Enable power saver".

It's under Settings, Power... and its the first option on the list on my Desire S running 2.3
