Car Hire Help Needed

    In June I need to hire a car in Boston. I will need a child seat for an 18 month old, I've never hired a car with a child before.

    I've looked on all the online car hire sites (Budget, Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Go-Hop) and it seems a bit unclear what the story is with hiring a car equipped with a baby seat. Most of them said they were available and gave no details on how to get one. One site just said they are available and you ask for one when you get to the counter. No sites allowed me to actually book a child seat at the time of booking on the internet.

    Has anyone done this ? What's the story ?
