    Hi,
I am struggling with some major decisions and would appreciate any advice.
I graduated with honours psychology degree in 2007 then went travelling and did various things, in 2009 I did 4 week tefl course and then spent a year teaching in Spain. I really enjoyed the work but found living in Spain tough so I moved back. I also did summer camp tefl teaching in Scotland. I have just got a 6 mnth contract as tefl teacher in Dublin but have little hours at the moment and am only getting €14 per hour of teaching time. So not getting paid for time I spend planning lessons outside of class.

Before I got my current job I was unemployed for several months (tefl is quite seasonal but my current job is supposed to be year round, I have also been assured both my hours and pay will increase). While unemployed I was considering what to do and planning on a masters. As my degree is psychology and I don't want to do clinical I decided social research might suit me ( I am quite analytical, I enjoy report writing and I would like a job involving the odd presentation). While unemployed I did a placement working in a chamber of commerce and this left me feeling I do not want to work in the business world, it also reassured me I can't stand sales and marketing at all.

So basically I now have to decide whether to apply for the masters as I was planning to before I got this job. Also should I apply for full-time or part-time!? I have been trying to get work exp in a research agency but it is too late now for me to base my decision on that. I know I don't want to do academic research.

Prob is seems like everyone has a masters these days and some are unemployed too so do i hang on to my job in the hope pay and hours increase to make it viable or do i do a masters like everyone else in the hope of securing a better paid and more secure job that I will also like!
