Green Screen

Wondering can anybody help me with this problem?

My laptop is a bit broken in that one of the hinges is off (celebrating football:o). It has been that way since November. In the last week, the whole screen has gone green. Not in that I only see green, everything works as normal. I assume this has something to do with the wires, as just before it happened, if I slanted the screen it flickered green.

Does anybody have any experience of this or would I be better off just sending it in for repair?

Sounds like it could be one of THESE

Depending on your model, it should be fairly easy to replace, remove the screws around the Bezel, and the top control panel above keyboard. (Some models may require removing more parts)

Then just swap old cable for new one.

Cheers for that. Will try get someone to look at it too, or put in the cable.
