Can anyone clarify if the looming government shutdown would effect visas issued through the embassy in dublin. It has already been said that should the shutdown go ahead the State Department would continue to provide emergency consular services to U.S. citizens in need. It's not happening but yes, IF there had been a shutdown, no visas would have been issued for the duration.
