Anyone know what the current scrap value of cars is? Have a '95 Micra that needs to go and although the NCT is valid until next month the car really isn't roadworthy.
So, does anyone know what sort of cash the scrap dealers are giving nowadays if I bring the car to their yard myself.
Plenty of guys willing to collect the car for free but I just want to know what I can make if I take 15 minutes to bring it in myself.
Limerick area, so Hegarty's are the only option.

    Ring them and ask.

Different yards quoting different prices if you're willing to bring it directly to them.

Whats wrong with it? Unless its crashed or the engine is damaged then they are still a popular car for people buying..
