48 Hour Event - Athens Ultrarunning Festival, 8-10 April 2011

    Our very own Ultraman1 is taking part in this Ultra event - see here for more details. The race started 7 hours ago and a mere 41 hours remain. Bear that in mind those of you who are counting down the sleeps for the Connemara Ultra :D

    Still fourth after 10hrs. The fact that he hasn't wandered off course into Turkey is a feat in itself.

    Impressive running overnight by Anto, fifth now, after 21 hours. Very tight between 3-7th places at this stage.

    Looks like a sneaki kip after 150k. Sweet dreams, ultraman!

    He's back moving again after sneaki kip and managed an average of 6km per hour over the last 5 hours.

    200k in and it looks like another sneaki kip (that or he's hit the ouzo bars). Great running Anto.
