A friend of mine has just received a letter stating that she has been granted JSA after a long drawn out battle with SW and there will be money for her next Tuesday in the PO, the letter mentions that it will be backdated from early Feb, buut does not state if she will get the whole lot…

Hi all, quick question for ye! A friend of mine has just received a letter stating that she has been granted JSA after a long drawn out battle with SW and there will be money for her next Tuesday in the PO, the letter mentions that it will be backdated from early Feb, buut does not state if she will get the whole lot together, she has a backlog of rent etc to pay and could do with the lump sum, do any of you know what procedure is? Thanks:p

Tell your friend to ring sw office to see if is the full amount. If it is and its a large amount your friend would want to be depositing it straight away in bank account or po account as you dont know who will be watching this large payment being counted out.
