Oh I got some gems in the last couple of weeks below is the most recent on I could find :pac::pac: Im going to be so rich I tells ya RICH :pac:
    :pac:
    FROM MRS. LIMEI CHEN

    Dear friend,

I am Mrs. Limei Chen gpu and I have been suffering from ovarian cancer disease and the doctor told me that i have a few days to leave. I am from ( Lhasa ) China but based in Africa Burkina Faso since eight years ago as a business woman dealing with gold exportation. Now that I am about to end the race like this, without any family members and no child. I have 2 Million US DOLLARS in Africa Development Bank (ADB) Burkina Faso which I instructed the bank to give St Andrews Missionary Home in Burkina Faso . But my mind is not at rest because I am writting this letter now through the help of my computer beside my sick bed.

I also have 5.5Million US Dollars at Bank of Africa here in Burkina Faso and I instructed the bank to transfer the money to the first foreigner that will apply to the bank after I have gone that they should release the fund to him/her, but you will assure me that you will take 50% of the money and give 50% to the orphanages home in your country for my heart to rest. You are to contact the bank through this email address: bankofafrica8bf@rocketmail.com

    Yours fairly friend,

    Madam Mrs. limei chen

Looked at my junk mail :pac: it seems I get these on a daily basis now :pac:
    FROM MADAWI ATASSI

    Dear Friend,

Greetings to you and your family, I am the manager of bill and exchange in THE BANK , i have a business of 2.5 Million United State Dollars to be transfer to your account for investment in your country , if you are ready to assist me get back to me, i will give you full details on how the fund will be transfer to you.

Be rest assure that everything will be handled confidentially because, this is a great opportunity we cannot afford to miss, as it will make our family profit alot.

It has been 5 years ago, that most of the greedy African Politicians used our bank to Launder money overseas through the help of their Political advisers.

Most of the funds which they transferred out of the shores of Africa was gold and oil money that was supposed to have been used to develop the continent.

The Political advisers always inflated the amounts before transfer to foreign accounts so I also used the opportunity to divert part of the funds hence I am aware that there is no official trace of how much was transferred as all the accounts used for such transfers were being closed after transfer.

I acted as the Account Officer to most of the politicians and when I discovered that they were using me to succeed in their greedy act,I also cleaned some of their banking records from the Bank files and no one cared to ask me because the money was too much for them to control As I am sending this message to you, I was able to divert the sum of two million five hundred united state dollars ($2.5M) to an escrow account belonging to no one in the bank.

Now the bank is very anxious to know who is the real beneficiary of the funds because they have made a lot of profits with the funds.

It has been five years now and most of the politicians are no longer using our bank to transfer funds overseas,as majority of them are not in power again, because their tenure has expired, and the $2.5 Million Dollars has been lying in the bank as unclaimed fund.

Once the fund has been transferred into your account,i will retire from the bank and without wasting time i will like you to indicate your interest in receiving this fund into your account in your country.

So that after the transfer of the fund i can come to your country for the sharing of the fund, The money will be shared 50% for me and 40% for you while the other 10% will be for the orphanage home with the poor people.

There is no one that is going to ask you any question about the funds because everything is well secured by me .

If you are interested in this transaction, do not fail to reply me back, but if you are not interested delete my message from your box ok.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Mr Madawi Atassi.

    Hello Dearest

I know this may sound strange to you, receiving a mail from an unknown person, but condition forced me to do so.I thought to send you this proposal with the arm to transfer my herited estate of (Nine Million USD) to your country for investments to enable me continue my studies and to reside there while you take care of my investments. Your urgent response to my plight will give me more courage to live as I have lost my parents, and have nobody in this world.

This is what can happen if your mail account gets hacked.

Got this sent to my webmaster address at work by some unknown guy. It's an official address so many IT people have it in their address books.
We do get a lot of these.
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes.I made a quick trip to United Kingdom on a short vacation unfortunately i got mugged at the park of hotel where i stayed, worse of it was that my bags, cash, cell phone and credit cards were all stolen at GUNPOINT leaving me penniless right now.

It's was a horrible experience for me and i need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is that i still have my passport.I need some cash to settle my bills and get on flight back home. please let me know if you can help.

I'm freaked out at the moment..

    Neil

sent to all in this poor hacked guys address book, I'd assume.
Now the scammer just sits and waits for his friends to reply...

That one isn't acually a scam - he never offers to repay the money. Such admirable honesty!

You don't actually have anyone working there called Neil who went to the UK recently?

There are websites out there that do this (scambaiting) - basically stringing along 419 scammers, pretty hilarious results when the scammer realises that they are being scammed :)

assuming ikky is trolling, but if not, it is definitely a scam, some councillor in ireland got caught with it a few months ago. Some young chap he knew was off foreign, and councillor received the "help ive been robbed" message from him.

I had a letter posted to me supposedly from Charles Taylor nephew saying that he had visited his uncle in jail for war crimes in the Netherlands. Apparently Charles told him that I was a kind generous friend of his and that I would be willing to help him out financially to secure his release from jail,,,,,,,:D

I don't remember meeting Charles Taylor....I can only assume it was on a night out and I was drunk:D

Just received in the past hour a skype request from a Betty Overstreet saying "hello!, I was looking around whos online and I found your page, and you seemed interesting.......

What the hell is that about???

I'm only skyping the past few weeks so am wondering is this a common occurence??
