RTE news app for iPad

    Hey there,

    The RTE news app now crashes every time I open it. Don't want to delete & reinstall as it seems to have disappeared from the app store. Anyone know what's going on with it?

    You can delete it from your phone and it will still sync from iTunes...

    Same thing is happening for me - crashes on launch every time. Maybe there's a bug with the latest version, and the developers pulled it until it's fixed, to minimise negative ratings

    There's an update available that fixes the app now. All is well with it again now.

    i'm having the same problem with the journal.ie app. they had an update for it in the appstore couple days ago, i downloaded the app and ever since it crashes!

    I no longer have sound on the "watch live" part of the app since my iPad automatically upgraded it's OS. Any ideas?

    Check the sworn on the side above the volume rocker, there was an option added in last iOS update to have this switch as mute or orientation lock
