so i looked out the window at work and some guy was basically lying across the boot lid of my e24 on the mobile tapping his glasses on her

i marched over and told him to have more respect for what was obviously someones pride and joy and he argued that it was ok

Well it isn't ok, so he can f*ck off!

I wouldn't even limit it to being someone's pride and joy that you can't sit on. Whatever it is, a manky battered old jeep for work or a tractor or a feckin maserati... if it's mine and i didn't say you can sit on it, then f*ck off away from it.

I was displaying the mustang at a car show, I came back from a bit of a wander to find two guys leaning back against the car, nearly sitting on it, wearing jeans (with the little pop rivets on them). I was not a happy camper.

It really bugs me to find people leaning or sitting on my car or any classic at shows. Usually people who should know better:mad:

The ironic thing about common sense is that it's not very common.

Often happens at shows, it's a real pisser, especially if you have a good paintjob.

Occupational hazard that comes with having some pride in what you own, had all sorts of issues at shows, but the worst was my partner's cousin lying across the bonnet of my TR posing for a photo. Christ did I shout, the b***h ain't light!!!!(or good looking either :D)

That exact thing happened me, there was a bit of a grump on afterwards as not everyone understands you can't suddenly start lying across the bonnet without dents, scrapes and the bonnet popping in

A friend of mine was out driving in his 1969 Mk2 Mini Cooper when it broke down, so I towed him back to the house I was renting at the time and he left it outside. I dropped him back to his own house afterwards. When I came back there was a couple of kids (10 year olds) sitting on the roof with their feet on the bonnet. When I asked them what they thought they were doing they said "Oh, it's ok, my Dad lets us sit on his car like this"...

A few years ago I had a couple of cars at a show. I parked them at the front row(1st mistake) .Anyway a line dance exhibition started and I came back to find a couple of teenage girls lying across the bonnets of both cars....Now if I had been a bit younger and these weren't my Classics, yeah I'd have got up there beside them,,,,,,but to say I nearly went balistic:o

I used to live in a lane off Leeson St. One night I came out to start my car (Merc 300CE) after a few days, and noticed a piece of clothing on the bonnet, just took it off. then as I was starting I noticed the star was knocked over. I went out to straighten it up and noticed the whole bonnet was caved in. Then I looked at the ground near the head light and saw the used condom on the ground. Shaggin on me bonnet!

Agreed!!! Just rest your left boot across his face and see if HE understands and keep telling him "its ok"

I caught Wicklow councillor N. K###y doing the same to mine one evening while he was on the phone. I ran out and told him to GET THE F##K OFF IT.....he understood fairly quickly but probably still didnt give a crap really.

Step (1) Chuck Norris his ass.

    Step (2) Explain why.

Step (3) Tell HIM its ok.

(in the event step 2 fails to work - repeat step 1 until the desired effect is achieved - step 3 is optional, all may not be ok!)
