Written off cars?

Hey Guys, Has anybody ever had a written off car, repaired it and put it back on the road? Besides the obvious difficulty in selling on, is there any other issues with doing this? Does it affect going for an NCT? Insurance? etc? PS...When I say written off, I mean uneconomical to repair by insurance, not a wreck of a…

Hey Guys,

Has anybody ever had a written off car, repaired it and put it back on the road?
Besides the obvious difficulty in selling on, is there any other issues with doing this? Does it affect going for an NCT? Insurance? etc?

PS...When I say written off, I mean uneconomical to repair by insurance, not a wreck of a thing)

As long as the repairs are well done it should pass the NCT

No, but know people who do it.

You may need to get an engineers report before some companies will insure it otherwise no issues.
