    Two things.

    One the PS3 isn't region locked.

    Secondly he never stated would the Oz games work over there, maybe it was poor wording but he asked would his games work over there, basically it looked like he was asking would his European PS3 play his European games in Oz....which doesn't really make sense :D.
    Assuming he meant in relation to the region lock, it's irrelevant either way.

    Only problem might be the plugs and that.

    @gilberto_eire

    Cheers for input, but I'll make it clear for ya, I was wondering if I bring my PS3 over here to Oz, then if I buy a game over here, will it work on my PS3?

    Cant break it down any more than that for ya..:p

    yeah it will work fine but you'll need a converter for your TV otherwise the picture will be upside down, you could always turn the TV upside down but I'm not sure that's good for the TV.
    someone had to go with the old obvious jokes, hurr hurr :P

    My mate is from Oz and I have played his PS3 games (which were bought in Melbourne) on my European PS3 no problems.

    Remember that some games are banned in Australia and you could get in trouble if you try to import them - the new Mortal Kombat being one of them!

    you can probably get around that by just downloading DLC using the old EU account, or just his normal account if it's a registered Irish account as it will download from the EU store.

    I've used Irish electronic equipment in Oz and vice versa- just change the plug it will work fine.

    On a slightly related note, Australian customs does seize certain games. it's definitely done with imports going to Australians not sure if moving there with it would count.

    the fines are 3x the value of the thing up to $100k.

    Thanks for all the comments..

    No fear of getting stopped at customs, all I want to play is COD,Fifa and Fallout..

    Miss it so much..ha..! The evenings are long without my PS3...(:
