Karma- Are you a believer?

    Hi Everyone

Sorry if this thread has been done before

Today I seen someone from my past who really stabbed me in the back and hurt me like i'd never hurt before.
I spent the guts of two years and ongoing getting my life together after the destruction this person caused. Really a nasty piece of work. Anyway I seen this person today for the first time in a couple of months and I never seen anyone look so ill so quick. The weight loss is incredible... his face is shrunk and he is a mere fraction of what he was.... looks REALLY BAD..
My question is- could this be the karma I so desperately wished for? Do any of you guys have any experiences like this, that you have seen someone get "what goes around, comes around" type scenario?
It has been rumoured that within my father's side of the family there is a belief that we have a white witchy side (ok not a great believer of this!). If this exists could it have been I who somehow ghostily made this happen? I did secretly pray to whatever was out there for very bad things to happen to him (!!)... but only in the very dark days...

If there was such thing as Karma then George W.Bush would have got cancer in his testicles.

No I don't believe in Karma. Great things happen to absolute assholes and sh*tty things happen to the nicest people in the world. It's **** karma won't make it better.

Bad things happen to good people.
    Now explain karma to me?

Life is life. Take what you get & deal with it the best you can.

No. I know good people who have been repeatedly kicked in the teeth by life for years and I know a complete cnut who actually won a considerable sum on the lottery.

    Its BS.

Not at all, it's a ridiculous concept. way too many examples of scum living good lives and innocents not.

Ok - so thats the hindus and buddhists and , er, white witchies dealt with.
    Who's next?

Unlike Christianity, though, I actually wish there was Karma.

If you had of gone over to that person, told them they looked REALLY BAD and then swiftly knee'd them in the groin, THAT would have been karma.

Seriously though, as others have said, too much bad sh!t happens to good people, who couldn't possibly 'deserve' it.

No, of course not. Some people never get an ounce of luck in their lives and visa versa.
And people who say 'karma' anytime something sh1t happens to are swampdonkeys because they propagates the childish idea.

A vein is going to pop in my temple if I see one more of these fcuking threads propagating this stupid stuff and calling it 'karma'

Sometimes I believe in Karma, sometimes I don't.

I keep changing my mind on the subject.

One could almost say that I am a Karma Chameleon.

I thought karma was only true in fairy tales.

And yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm not a believer.

Not a trace of doubt in my mind.

Sorry! I wasn't trying to pop anyones temple! I was merely seeing what peoples opinion on it was... i get yours loud and clear...
Nor am i trying to propagate any sort of beliefs- thank you.
I guess I was just hoping in a way that it did exist but as many pointed out innocent children sick or dying and so many horrible disease out punishing good people, that "karma" seems an unlikely thing.

But what about the white witches... my aunt is a tarot card reader/ white witch and many things she has told me in the past have materialized. My common sense should prevail here and tell me coincidence but there's a lingering doubt. I have often felt that my Oma (grandmother) is closeby and is keeping me safe. I'm not claiming to have any special powers of any sort or a true belief in it but just what if?.... What if I have inherited some white witchery that I'm unaware of and possibly through all my negatives thought over this person has made him sick?

Just throwing this out there! Not to seem like an unwell freak or anything! Although I'm sure it might seem like that!

Something crap might not have happened to him either, but it did - except it doesn't seem just random after what he did to you. It is though.

I wish it did. Karma kinda means justice naturally existing in the world, which I don't think exists but if someone is a complete sh!thead all their life then chances are they will piss people off and get their comeupins at some point - is that considered karma?
Still really doesn't explain all the horrible things that happen to so many innocents around the world. But then we have Christianity to make us feel better about that - those who suffer well go to heaven etc.

I find karma to exist if it's to my personal detriment. Otherwise, no.

Karma as a mystical power? No, absolutely not, my mother believes in it which annoys me cause she gets roped into the idea of bad people getting theirs but they might live a long, enjoyable life. So no, Karma is not real.

However the idea of what goes around comes around still exists to a certain extent. A bad person who treats people badly could reasonably end up being treated badly in return if that makes sense.

In summary, mystical karma- no. Social karma and fair treatment - yes.

Oh I hear you ! I so much as step on a bug and I'm fucked for the week - some backstabbing cunt at work with no scruples and not an honest bone in their body fucks me over and they get a sodding promotion - Karma truly is a bitch but there is absolutely no method to her madness.

Probably not, but I'd go easy for the rest of the week - you have used your quota up and K's a fickle sicko with a penchant for mindfuckery.

nope, see too much that proves otherwise ...
it's a nice idea ... like santa ... but then i found out there was no santa ... i was a kid!!! how's that karma???

there maybe a larger plot to all this, but Karma is just like Santa .. you tell your kids that ... but then they grow up and do good or do bad .... but they still get prezzies!!

    i miss xmas
