Molecular Medicine or Microbiology

Hi, know it's kinda late to be looking for advice, given that the subject choice form is due Friday. But I'm just completely torn between these two for next year.

I've gone over it again and again and I think they're both really interesting and I'd love to study them both.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice whose done either of these courses or knows anything about them. Has anyone done Molecular medicine and why did you pick it? Did it live up to your expectations etc.

I have no idea which to chose. Any help would be really appreciated. :)

If you're THAT torn, you could always do Micro and then the Mol Med MSc after you graduate. But I suppose I'm biased because Micro kicks ass

From what I've gathered, Molecular Medicine has a more clinical aspect to it than most of the other disciplines. (Neuroscience and Physiology being the other two.)
Microbiology is a very broad discipline, so if you're unsure it would probably be a good one to settle on.

Since I've just started a PhD in Microbiology, I am a bit biased in this but Micro is a fantastic subject to study. It emcompasses the entire world around us and there is some really cool research going on here in Ireland
