FaceTime "Waiting For Activation..." Meteor

Hi guys, just got my iPhone 4 today and I wanted to test out a bit of FaceTime with some other people. I go in to the settings and some notification came up saying that "my carrier (Meteor) may charge for messages being sent by FaceTime" or something like that. I just clicked 'okay' and got on with it.
But now when I go to Phone > Facetime and it's switched to Yes it just continues to say "Waiting For Activation..." and I can't get the FaceTime app.

So how can I fix this? Would it be that I don't have any credit?

    Thanks in advance, Luke. :D

Yup. The activation costs you the price of a text to the UK, I think.

it's different on iphone, it's under contacts. go into a contact and hit the face time button.

Oh. So how do I FaceTime with somebody who's using an iPod? Do I need their appleID as a contact or something?

yup facetime with phones uses your phone number as UID, for non phone devices it's your apple ID.
