stab in the dark here...United and Liverpool will fare pretty high in this poll...Arsenal Chelsea and Spurs will fair out roughly the same.
    Few will tick "other english"
Barca will fare better than Real, odd few tick "other spanish".
The Italian teams will all fare near enough the same amount of votes.

Other(please state) will have the LoI fans.

Pure stab in the dark guess.

lol seriously - not even 1 single LOI team gets mentioned in the poll?

You've got to wonder why the LOI fans get so wound up!

Should have made it an all EPL or all LOI or all Spanish etc poll. Missing a lot of teams and I'd say there's some overspill between people supporting 2 teams in the poll.

    Anyway, Bohs and Wolves.

Liverpool since 89/90. Most of the lads at school supported them.

AFC Wimbledon since their formation in 02/03. Used to go to see Wimbledon FC as a kid and always had a soft spot for them till they left for Milton Keynes.

Sligo since I moved there in '06. Never followed LOI before that considering living in Ireland since '98. :o

I would say 95%+ of LoI supporters support a foreign team as well. Practically all of us support our own LoI side, so why include it in the poll? It would be practical to create a poll containing only LoI sides to get a proper answer on LoI sides.

    Drogheda United.

I'll let all the other West Brits vote for their respective, 'local' teams.

Says it all about the typical 'sports' fan in Ireland.

No disrespect to CorkMan, but it probably didn't even cross your mind to include LOI teams.

    A bit harsh?

Why do you say that, because he didn't put in LOI teams?

A lot of LOI supporters here are full of themselves tbh, they will take any oppurtunity to have a go at people who support a foreign team.

(For the record, I support Limerick 37 (Now Limerick F.C, again :P) and Manchester Utd, I am from Limerick, and a very good friend of mine plays for them and I have been to Manchester Many times since I was born because I have family there, and started going to games very young, unfortunately the last game I managed to make was the Community shield in Wembley, as I have not had the money to go recently, but I support them as much as I can, and always will.)

What other country in the world would completely miss out on their own local clubs when asking people what club they supported?

IMO nobody has a go at people who support a foreign team, moreso have a go at people who completely ignore their local team. I know tonnes of people who support say Shels, Liverpool and Celtic, etc... doesn't bother me as they're a Shels fan, they support the LoI.

Ridiculous, imo. 3 pages of abuse, thus far.

Seriously, how can you completely forget about your local league?
