What will fix my PS3?

    Hello, my ps3 wont play any discs, or demos, only plays videos and music from the hard drive, i replaced the blueray player and also the box thats next to it and it still doesnt work...just goes to a black screen when i go to play a demo, and when i place a disc in, it doesn't even show up to try and play it..its a 40gb model, tried replacing the hard drive also, and done everything in the safe mode menu.....what is wrong with it and how could it be fixed? Cheers if you can help me.

    If you have proof of purchase take it back to the shop you bought it. Look up the threads here for PS3 Small Claims Court. Know your rights - look up Sale of Goods and Supply Act 1980.


    There seems to be a lot of phats dying lately.

    Do you have the original bd drive?? You need the logic board its paired to the ps3 main board, if not what firmware is the ps3 running?
