Parking

    Hi,
Just moved into a new apartment. The add said two parking spaces. When viewing the apt we met the previous tenants and they told us they had 2 permits and one visitors permit.

This is in the belimine apartments in Stepaside. Does anyone who lives there know what the story is for a 2 bed apt and parking.

The letting agency have given us one permit and one visitor pass(valid till October).

It feels like they are keeping one for themselves?
    Regards,
    Scolari-IRE

Check out their forum on neighbours.ie Someone there will either have posted about it already or will be able to help you.

FYI in our development it's one space per unit whether it's 1,2 or 3 bed.

What does your lease say? That's what important. The add has no legal bearing.

Visitor permits tend not to guarantee you a space.

    False advertising?

Might be, but that's nothing that concerns the tenant. For him only the lease counts. For fslse advertising, only the lendlord or the agency can be reprimanded.
