    Hi,
    I'm currently researching the possibility of going abroad for affordable cosmetic dentistry. One of my first port of calls was this Dentistry forum on Boards.ie as I've always found boards to be a fantastic resource for any kind of information that you might be looking for. However, after browsing through a few threads dealing with peoples experiences in oversea's Dental clinics, all I've found is biased moderators and other users, who are obviously in the business, flaming people and closing down threads because they must feel that its a threat to them. Not exactly what you would call impartial.

    So I'm staring a fresh thread to ask anyone who may have had dental work done abroad, how was their treatment? also if they could please detail their experiences here.

    NOTE: For your own sakes, and not to draw the wrath of the Irish boards.ie dental empire down upon you please do not mention any specific dental clinics, except through PM's. Doing so could get you an infraction as per the charter.

    Although I don't for the life of me know why. Could be something from a legal standpoint but I havent experienced it in other forums. Can you imagine if it was enforced in the Bargain alerts forum... :eek: Hi, I found a great bargain today but I cant tell you where. LOL.

    So what you're essentially looking for is biased opinions in favour of going abroad. Why do need them? You seem to have made up your mind about foreign dentistry, and certainly the mods on this forum. If you don't like the way the forum is moderated, please go to the feedback forum and state your opinions there. On thread criticism of mods is not tolerated, we volunteer here.

    You've come on just to have a cut at how this forum is being run. You can do that in the feedback forum. Thread closed.

    This is not a dental issue, you know the opinion of the dentists on this forum and the numberious examples of work we have found with this sort of high speed cheapo tooth massacre. I have pointed you to several threads which themselves lead to several threads. If that is not fitting with the decision you have already made thats not our problem.

    You after a bargain try Bargain forum or the consumer issues forum. Argue with the moderation of this forum again and a ban will be issued. Reccomendations can be handled by PM and I am sure the Kusadasi shill has already been on to you.
