    Hi Folks
Just wondering if anyone can help me. The powr switch on my toshiba satellite L650D laptop is not working and i am wondering is there another way to turn it on? It is windows seven and is still under warranty.
    Thanks a mill

No other way to turn it on, unless you want to take off the centre control cover (probably voiding the warranty). Even then you are not guaranteed that it's not the actual power switch/power itself that's broken.

If you don't want to hand it back to them with data, you could buy a hard drive enclosure or a Hard drive Cradle and take your data off that way, before you hand it back to them.

But i would definitely take advantage of the warranty, as it could be a bigger problem.

Thanks a mill managed to get it on by holding the power button for about a minute. Think i will just drop it straight back after work and take advantage of the warranty!
