How Accurate is the speed reading you get on a sat Nav ?

Fairly accurate to be honest, depending on the number of satellites it's picking up.

A lot more accurate than the speedometer.

About as accurate as you're going to get really, until the American's turn the system off when they decide to have a proper war. :D

I have found my speedo in the car about 10% inaccurate compared to the sat nav at speeds below 100kmph. But as I approach 130kmph to 140 on the car, the sat nav gets very close and almost matches less about 5kmph. It begins to get much closer above this up to my max of 160. Have'nt pushed any more.

As above, a sat nav is using simple time x distance calculations so is as accurate as you can get.

Clear day, sat nav positioned low on front window, drive along a flat road at a constant speed....I'd say you could not get a more accurate reading.
