Plasma still in the box

Hi ive a 42 inch samsung plasma that was given as a present and it is still in the original box and never been used. I have it about a year and was thinking of keeping it unopened for another year when i move house so what i want to know is will i be ok . Will there be any problems with it regarding the gas inside, picture…

Should i open it up and fire it up to keep it in working order or am i worrying for nothing.

You are worrying over nothing. But I would start her up just to make sure that it's okay. i.e actually working
