04 Renault Scenic Washer Problem

I just picked up a low mileage Renault Scenic for €3,400, very happy with the purchase, it's a lovely car.
But, I find that the front window washer isn't working.
The rear one is fine, and when I activate the front washer the pump makes all the right sounds and the wipers do their thing but no water is produced from the front nozzle.
I popped the bonnet and unplugged the water pipe underneath the lid, tried blowing/sucking on the pipe but no dice at all, couldn't blow into the water reservoir nor suck any water from it either.
Not sure if there is some sort of blockage or something else going on.

    Can someone here help?
Don't want to have to take it to a dealer already and the engine bay of the Scenic is a different animal from my last car, a C5.

    Thanks

You probably cant blow back to the tank as some manufactures fit a one way valve to stop the water running back.

Dumb question time, did you operate the washers with the pipe off the nozzles?

If you did and there is no water coming out remove the pipe at the motor and repeat. You may have a siphon issue when you do so at the motor though

I will get under the thing tomorrow and disconnect the pipe from the outlet from the pump and see whats going on, there might be a kink or something in the line, not sure, is it easy to access I wonder, doesn't look like there's an awful lot of room to play with in the Scenic II engine bay!

What do you mean "siphon issue"?

Well the motor is normally below the level of the water in the tank, so once you take the pipe off the water will start to flow under gravity
