I spotted a link to this on Vagdrivers so I thought I would share the link with ye. AFAIK the place is closed now because the EPA shut it.

certainly true in the UK...bought up cheap and loaded onto Trawlers in Hull (and no doubt elsewhere)

Same but I would love to just say give him a days wages and go around and take bits off Fords, lights, alloys, wings etc...

Not to sell on to make a profit but to store and use them, and if somebody needs something let them have it at cost.

Parts are getting harder and harder to get so it would be nice to have a collection.

Not sure if its the same place , but theres a huge yard full of old stuff in Suncroft Co Kildare. Passed by there last week and gates were closed

Laughed at the bus load of turf. Would imagine there'd be one hell of a blaze if that were to catch fire.

I would imagine there would be a bit of demand for those XR3 wheels.

You'd think he'd have crushed lots of them. No wonder the EPA shut him down.

An ole walk around a scrap yard can be good crack though, when I lived in Dublin myself and a housemate spent an afternoon or two in the scrappers in Kilcock, back then we were amazed at the stuff the Leinster folks were scrapping, that or a morning at the car auctions on Nass Road, happy days :pac:

I know a lad who works there, I regularly get parts from him. The place is HUGE!
