car windows/glass

    when we moved into our new house 12 years ago it needed lots of work inside and out, buried in some undergrowth was an old car which had disintergrated but we managed to save the glass.

    can anyone identify it from its glass? havn't a clue myself

    not sure tbh. it cant be seen in the pic but the window with the seal is curved top and bottom

    Any markings on them? Are they all definitely from one car? That side pane looks a lot like a Hillman Minx Californian especially with the leading edge strip.

    the car itself seems to have been very narrowthe widest piece of glass only being approx. 2.5 foot by 1 foot tall.
    i wish i had taken more notice of what it was, i may ask some of the neighbours if they remember what makes of car they had, i know they were considered reasonably well off

    My guess is something from the 1930's.
    I was going to suggest Ford Model C based on the front window shape but can only find pictures of them with chrome surrounds. Also the rear window is wider than the small pane above
