Sky Issue & Query

I've a problem with Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic, as in they don't work since Feb.

    All other channels are grand.

I've contacted Sky, they suggested upgrading to HD as a magical solution or requesting a service engineer visit (at a cost of €100).

I've been with Sky approx 3 years and only need to give a months notice to cancel.

I've looked through the T's & C's and can't see anything barring me from cancelling my contract and setting up another contract immediately.

I was thinking of taking advantage of this deal http://www.fatcheese.co.uk/cashback/sky-digital/

If I can't do it under my name, then I'm happy to switch it to my wife's name.

    Any thoughts on this?

My issue with Sky (and most other service providers) is that they're only too happy to look after new customers, whilst kicking existing customers in the arse when their system fails.
