Where are you based, how old are these and what kind of kms?

Based in Louth, but in Leopardstown every day of the week.

This was taken off a 2008 Trek Madone. I bought the bike from new in Feb 2009. I took it off the bike in August 2010. I have multiple bikes, but I reckon there is around 1000km on the groupset.

    Hi there,

For some reason I'm having trouble seeing the photos on your flickr account.

What size are the rings on the chainset? Is there a cassette? If so, what are the sprocket sizes? Also, what's the cage length on the RD?

    Thanks.

    what sort of mileage?

I'd be interested in the brakeset if you decide to split!

I just tried the photos on a few computers and they appear okay for myself and the OH

Compact chainset and the rings are 50/34.

I was not going to sell the cassette but if it's a deal breaker for somebody, I will look to add it. If I did, then cassette is 11-25 Shimano cs-6500 I believe.

I assume you mean cage length on the FD? If so, I guess it's a short cage.

Sorry I didn't mean to suggest that there was a problem with your account. A crappy combination of old laptop, OS, etc. often results in long loading times for pics.

No, the RD. As in the distance between the two centres of the jockey wheels.

I would say it is accurate - I never had any problems with it anyway. It always worked well with the 11-25 and 12-27 cassettes that I had on the bike.

I reckon I have done about 1000km on it.

First time using Flickr so was worried I hadn't share things correctly :)

Will have to check the cage size on the RD for you - my bike knowledge does not extend that far :( It's 50mm between the centre of the two jockey wheels if that helps.

Interested in 240 for the lot and I collect from Leopardstown? No use for them but I like the idea of spares.

    Yes 260 is an offer

Can you split the difference in price with me (280 euro) and we have a deal...??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,674 ✭✭✭Peetrik

I think 260 is fair enough for 2nd hand without a cassette or cables, fair bit of scuffing on those shifters too.

Totally understand if you want to hang on for a few extra euro

    Cheers
    Patrick
