difference in cost with new driving test system

I have my theory test done since may 2009 but i never got my provisional. (I'm always broke, and live centrally so not in a hurry to learn how to drive).

I just noticed today (April 2!!!) this new system that starts with the learners permits issued after April 4.

Can anyone tell me how much more it will cost to get to the Drivers Test stage as opposed to under the old system, just so i can constantly beat myself up about it????:(:(

For example: if you need to take 10 lessons minimum with a qualified instructor now, that is fine as i would have done that anyway, i just get the sense from what people are saying that it is a LOT more expensive under this system, and seeing as money is probably why i kept putting off getting my permit, i was wondering about the difference in cost under the two systems.

I hope this makes sense?! Thanks xxx

there wont be a difference in cost really its up to the adi how much the lessons are if you are going to start learning to drive whether your under the old system or new you'll still need at least 12 lessons anyway

If you were planning on taking 10 lessons and now have to take 12, the difference is only about 50 to 70 euro.
