Muesli

I know that cereals in general aren't good for you but what about muesli?

The brand I have has no added sugar & salt and I would have it with natural yoghurt and a chopped banana for breakfast. I really can't stand porridge (the texture and the taste!) so I thought that muesli wouldn't be a bad choice but I would like someone to correct me if I'm wrong!!

    Thanks :)

Like yourself I don't like porridge. I can't comment on taste as I have never eaten it as I can't get past the fact that it is hot/warm and gloopy, like baby food

However not really a fan anymore of ready made Muesli either, so I make my own now.

20g oats, table spn mixed seeds, 3 almonds, 4 hazel nuts, 4 walnit halves, 3 brazil nuts (chopped), 5 grapes (halved), table spn blueberries, 6 black berries (halved), 6 raspberries (halved), 3 strawberries (chopped). I have this with 200ml of coconut milk (Kara brand, Dunnes Stores) and it is really delicious.

Museli is healthy as long as you're not trying to cut carbohydrates. Shop bought museli tends to have a lot of added sugar though so you'll have to look out for one without much/any added sugar.

Thank you... I've got one with no added sugar and I find it the most filling breakfast I've ever tried so it's great news to hear that it's healthy :)
I thought it was but just wanted other opinions!

    and @TommyKnocker that sounds amazing!!
