    Hi folks,

I currently have a mobile broadband package from o2 and would like to use it in my 3g iPad 2. Is this possible? What settings do i need to change in the iPad? (haven't gotten the iPad yet!)

If it is possioble, I will obviously need a micro sim as opposed to my current 'normal' sized sim. Will o2 give me a new micro sim in replacement for the 'normal' sim, or would I be better off saying nothing at all and cutting it down?

    Ta.

It has been asked and answered repeatedly, so look back a few pages or use the search for "data" or "ipad" or the like

    Cheers RVN,

My intention is to just use it in the iPad. Will o2 give me a micro sim in place of the normal sim? Do I need to change any settings in the iPad?

No you don't need to change any settings , as for O2 just go into Cpw or O2 get a sim replacement micro sim if they ask what for say your getting a new iPhone or whatever. Then ring O2 1909 say your sim ain't working and give them the new sim number they won't know any different because I did this with the 1st iPad. Hope it helps.

No worries mate , it's the same sim replacements for iPhones and iPads so they be none the wiser either
