Ok,I know there is a big thread about this, but this issue is completely different, at the moment i am in a bit of weird situation, i was made unemployed 4 months ago and am on jobseekers benefit. Im currently hoping to set up a mini business selling at market stalls. It could earn me about 60 a week for now but if i took it seriously I could actually make an attempt at setting up a business and making a genuine job out of it.

    My issue:
I am pretty sure I am not entitled to the back to work enterprise allowance as I have not been unemployed long enough, so instead i was considering just selling until I am entitled. Im gathering this info from reading the citizens information site.
I would still love to start selling this product, if I was entitled to the allowance I would be doing it all above board and still be getting the same amount of money, so either way I am not any better off now if I was to start selling than I would be if I was doing it above board (with the allowance)

Is it immoral to just start now? I dont have enough cash to just give up my benefit and try and take the business seriously, I dont even know if it will sell. So I honestly cant just go off the benefit and try do it legit.

What do you think? And please keep in mind that if I WAS entitled to the enterprise id be getting the exact same money for a year ,(I dont plan on on being on either for a year anyway). I take social welfare fraud seriously and it annoys me just as much as the next person, thats why in one way I feel like a bit of a hypocrite, but in an other way i feel it would be stupid of me to just wait around until I can get the enterprise allowance.
